Our payment card processor gets a response indicating whether the address and zip code match. As a merchant, we have it set up so that if there is no match on both street address and zip code, the transaction will fail. While the authorization was successful, the AVS match failed, and so the transaction was not captured and the order was not completed. This is standard payment card practice and the same policy is applied to all transactions on our website. What I would suggest is making sure that the shipping address is also listed as a billing address on the Credit card. If this is happening just let our team know right away.
